Rockwool FirePro SP FireStop EN
FirePro SP FireStop EN comprises of both a medium density stone wool slab with a high emissivity black aluminium foil on both sides and is supplied in two thickness options depending on the fire rating required:
SP FireStop EN 60 – 75mm
SP FireStop EN 120 – 90mm
FirePro SP FireStop EN has been tested in accordance with BS EN 1366-4:2021 and is suitable for use as a linear cavity firestop in both vertical and horizontal orientations. SP FireStop EN has been tested with multiple substrate types including masonry/concrete, SFS and composite panels with a stone wool core. SP FireStop EN can achieve fire resistance ratings of up to 120 minutes (EI 120) in cavities up to 600mm, depending on the application. SP Firestop EN has been classified in accordance with BS EN 13501-2: 2016
SP FireStop EN is available with three sizes of SP FireStop Fixing Bracket (small, large or extra large). Black aluminium foil tape is also available for the taping of joints at the abutment between slabs.
