PFC Corofil Vent Duct Sleeves CVDS
A closure device for plastic vent ducts.
PFC Corofil Vent Duct Sleeve is a flexible intumescent material, consisting primarily of mineral fibres, intercalated graphite and organic binders formed into a duct sleeve.
Tested in accordance with EN1366-3:2009 Vent Duct Sleeves offer fire resistance periods of up to EI240 for PVC-U rectangular ducts and wall constructions.
Grey in colour the sleeves have a glass fibre reinforced aluminium foil cladding around the perimeter along their full length. They are supplied in various dimensions to suit specific duct sizes and have a nominal 25mm thick wall. Sleeves can be cut down along their length to aid fitment and a strip of aluminium foil tape is used to seal the joint.

Vent Duct Sleeves are a closure device installed around plastic vent ducts through non load bearing wall constructions where they have been provided with apertures for the penetration of the services.
