Advantages

Intumescent Vent Duct Sleeves provide up to 2 hours fire resistance to rectangular PVC ventilation ducting penetrations. In the event of a fire, the duct sleeve will expand with the heat, crushing the duct and closing off the hole for a least 2 hours. The sleeves are particularly suitable for use in plasterboard but can also be used in blockwork walls.

Fire Rating
Tested in accordance with BS476 Part 20:1987 and EN 1366-3:2009 the duct sleeve will provide up to 2 hours fire protection.

Labour saving
Suitable for 30, 60 and 120 minute walls
No metal sleeving

Installation

The sleeves are ready to install providing a quick and easy solution without the need for foams, mastic or sealant. This unique product will sleeve over the plastic vent duct and will provide fire protection from both sides of the partition.

The pre-formed design does not require additional metal sleeving when fitted in plasterboard partitions and can be simply cut to allow easy fitting even when ducts are fitted tightly against the ceiling soffit.
