A high density mineral fibre batt (180kg/m³ fire batt) factory coated on both faces to a precise thickness with a white durable fire resistant mastic.

Used to fire stop large holes in floors and walls with or without service penetrations. Also used as a linear gap seal up to 1200mm high x infinite length in walls and up to 600 mm wide x infinite length in floors. FIREFLYBatt seals provide solutions for multiple service penetrations within various wall substrates (FR plasterboard, Hebel Powerpanel, Pronto Panel, Speedpanel, block & masonry) and floor/ceiling substrates (concrete, masonry and FR plasterboard).

Material Description

A 50mm thick ablative coated batt, comprised of a high density (180kg/m³) high temperature resistence mineral wool insulation, factory coated on both sides with high-performance ablative coating. FIREFLYBatt dimensions 1200 x 600 x 50mm. Approximately 6.5kg per batt.

Applications

Used to fire stop large holes in floors and walls with or without service penetrations or as a linear gap seal up to 1200mm high x infinite length in walls and up to 600 mm wide x infinite length in floors. FIREFLYBatt seals provide solutions for multiple service penetrations within various wall and floor substrates (including, but not limited to FR plasterboard, Hebel, Hebel Powerpanel, Pronto Panel, Speedpanel, block & masonry, concrete and cross-laminated timber). Certification

Tested in accordance with AS1530.4 2014 and assessed in accordance with AS4072.1 2005 in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
