Description
FIREFLY FR Intumescent Acrylic is a water based sealant, used to provide a fire-rated
seal to joints, gaps and around penetrations, tested to BS EN 1363-3 and BS EN 1363-4.
Areas of Use
FIREFLY FR Intumescent Acrylic Sealant must be used when installing a FIREFLY® FB180
Batt system, in order to provide a tested and certified solution.
The sealant should be applied to all cuts, joints and exposed edges of the FB180 Batt, as well as around penetrations. FIREFLY Ablative Coating may additionally be used.
FIREFLY FR Intumescent Acrylic Sealant is also suitable as a linear joint seal in various substrates, including concrete, softwood, hardwood, steel, and gypsum board.
