Box of 25 - Silicone Sealant Firebreak 33 is a one part fire resistant neutral curing silicone sealant with excellent flexibility and acoustic performance. When subjected to high temperatures it forms a durable char that restricts the passage of smoke and fire. It is easy to apply and is designed for internal or external use wherever high movement fire resistant and/or acoustic joints are required.
Firebreak 33 is an easy-to-apply, highly flexible silicone sealant designed to provide fire protection wherever internal or external high movement and/or acoustic joints are used. When exposed to high temperature it reacts to form a durable char that restricts the passage of smoke and fire for up to 4 hours.

- Excellent adhesion to most building substrates, including porous materials, without the use of primers

Typical Applications
- Construction/movement joints in fire separating masonry and partition walls an concrete floors
- Acoustic joints at junctions of lightweight partitions with walls and floors
- Deflection joints between rigid walls or partitions and floor soffits
- Fire resistant glazing applications including curtain walls
- Service penetration seals to cables and metallic pipes where they pass through fire resistant walls and floors
- Providing a cold smoke and acoustic seal to gaps around plastic pipes prior to the fitting of Firebreak FX Series Pipe Collars
- Bedding offire grills etc., when fitted to uneven service
Testing & Certification
- Extensive testing to EN 1366-3: 2009 and EN 1366-4: 2006 providing up to 4 hours fire resistance to linear gaps and service penetrations
- Zero flame spread when tested to EN ISO 11923-2: 201O giving Class E classification to EN 13501-1:2007 + Al
- Classification to EN 13501 and CE Mark (ETA 21/0223 & 21/0221)
- Mechanical and durability testing to EAD 3S0454-00-1104 & EAD 350141-00-1106
- Third party product certification with UL International (Certificate# UL-EU-00708)
- Acoustic testing to EN ISO 140: Part 3: 1995 sealing multiple gaps in a Rw 54 dB rated acoustic partition with no loss of acoustic performance
