Aithon F4X for use over AL20X is designed for indoors or outdoors. A water based topcoat paint. It is primarily for use with Aithon AL20X for timber fire protection providing a superior finish to its rivals having the benefits of both indoors and outdoors application options.

Usage / Purpose Aithon AL20X & F4X

AITHON AL20X can be applied by brush, roller or a spray gun. For application see AL20X and F4X technical and application data sheets below.  

Euro Class B in one coat. No top coating required for indoors.
Euro Class B Reaction to Fire to any wooden/timber substrate having density 390 Kg/m3 or above with a minimum thickness of 10 mm. 

Permanent outdoors use with AITHON F4X, water based high UV resistance finish coating.

As with any reaction to fire product and with industry guidance the tested topeal should be used to complete the system. Recent major fires have shown that using untested coatings over the top of protective coatings can affect the performance level in a fire. If an alternative topseal is desired then a test should be carried out to confirm the performance is maintained.

Application
AL20X and F4X can be applied by brush, roller or a spray gun.
Stir thoroughly the products before application.
