Firetherm Intucollar - 110mm
Firetherm Intucollar - 110mm
Designed to maintain the fire resistance and seal plastic (PVC-U, PP, PE, HPE & ABS) combustible pipes as they pass through fire compartment walls and floors. Under fire conditions, the intumescent filler of the metal collar expands to many times its original thickness exerting pressure on the heat softened plastic pipe and closing the opening with a dense block of fire resistant char, leaving a potential path for fire completely sealed.
Description
A metal shell produced in two hinged halves, lined with intumescent material, to be placed around the combustible pipe and fixed to compartment walls and floors with steel fixing anchors or heavy duty screws to provide 2 hours fire protection. Collars may be installed within floor seals. Firetherm Intucollar may additionally be used around insulated combustible pipes or continuously insulated non-combustible pipes.
